In order to start changing the dire destiny of villages in the EU, the Prime minister of Slovenia –Miro Cerar signed the Bled Declaration on Smart Villages at an international conference – EU Action for smart villages. The new chapter in development of the rural areas is now opened.

Mr. Franc Bogovič, Member of the European Parliament and the Initiator of the European Action for Smart Cities showed his appreciation to Mr. Jovanović for introducing the little known sides of the “man who, more than 100 years ago, knew things that we are only just starting to apprehend today”, and expressed his hope for future cooperation.
